This is my daughter's birthday card. She loves cats and dogs so of course I picked a cat for the front of her card. I used the Whipper Snipper Cupcake Kitty. I coloured him in with pencil crayons and smoothed him out with gamsol. I used candy cane pink glitter to fill in the icing on the cupcake. I also edged the cupcake liner in a dark blue glitter. I used some glaze to whiten his pearly teeth and accentuate the pink nose. I used the Happy Birthday embossing folder on the baby blue Bazzill cardstock. The bottom of the card is birthday design paper with a blue Happy Birthday Ribbon. I used some Happy Birthday stickers beside the cat for my sentiment. The card was topped off with cornflower blue square brads in the corner of the cards. Today is her birthday and I just finished her card last night. She lives about 25 minutes from me but I carried on the tradition and took her out a Birthday donut to celebrate her birthday along with her card. She was thrilled that I remembered the tradition.
